The Grace Museum will host two upcoming Gallery Talks in connection with their current art exhibition series, Texas Regionalism and Beyond.
Both events are free and open to the public. Galleries will open at 5 pm and light refreshments will be provided. Media representatives are encouraged to attend.

GALLERY TALK – Guest Speaker – Caleb Bell
Forever Curious: Coreen Mary Spellman’s Creative Impulse
Diving into Coreen Mary Spellman’s creative output, Caleb Bell will discuss several of her influences along with the resulting works and how they played into her career trajectory. Bell will also talk about the role of art education and Spellman’s experiences as both a student and a teacher.

Great Depression Era Literature
Two literature professors from Abilene Christian University will set the context for The Grace Museum’s current art exhibitions by discussing literature from and about the Great Depression and the American Dust BowlSpeakers – Cole Bennett, PH.D. and Todd Womble, PH.D.
